It is designed to provide transparent failover to a Web-based e-mail system hosted in an IBM facility in the event that your primary e-mail system goes down. When activated, the solution notifies employees of the change in system via mobile devices and alternate e-mail accounts. Employees can access their e-mail via a Web browser and through their PDA devices. After the disruption is over, it synchronizes your primary e-mail system with all the e-mail sent and received while it was down.
